Agreement

By creating an account or using VOX, you agree to these terms on behalf of your organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

VOX provides browser-based calling, SMS, voicemail, IVR, team routing, and related telephony features for Canadian business customers. Availability depends on third-party carriers and your configuration.

Acceptable use

• Comply with CASL, CRTC rules, and applicable telecom regulations in Canada
• Obtain and document consent before sending commercial SMS or marketing calls
• Do not use VOX for unlawful robocalling, spam, phishing, or harassment
• Register accurate E911 addresses for every purchased number
• Protect account credentials and notify us promptly of unauthorized access
• Do not attempt to bypass billing, rate limits, or multi-tenant isolation

Telephony and numbers

Phone numbers are leased through Twilio and remain their property. You may not resell numbers outside the VOX service. Port-in and port-out are supported subject to carrier rules. Service quality depends on your internet connection, browser, and upstream carriers; we do not guarantee uninterrupted voice or SMS delivery.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed per seat in CAD through Stripe. Usage beyond included allowances (outbound minutes, SMS segments) is metered as described on the pricing page. GST/HST/PST/QST are calculated at checkout where Stripe Tax is enabled. Failed payments may suspend number purchase and outbound messaging until the account is current. Cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal; access continues through the end of the paid period.

Data and privacy

Your use of VOX is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are the data controller for contact and call data you store; VOX processes that data on your behalf. You must have a lawful basis to collect and message your contacts.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a compliance risk. Upon termination, you may export contact data while access remains. Number release and final billing follow Stripe and Twilio policies.

Limitation of liability

VOX is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from service interruptions, carrier failures, or misconfigured routing.
